Departed this life on January 29th, 2025. Charlie Carter Jr., age 56, formerly of Richmond. He is preceded in death by his mother Patricia Corbin and father Charlie Carter Sr. He is survived by one son Charlie Carter III, his stepfather James “Butch” Corbin; one sister Dionne Hughes; two brothers Eric Carter and Anwar Corbin(Tisha); three aunts Gwendolyn Harris, Julie Woods Susie James; two uncles Samuel Carter and Alfred Carter; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins among them Toleta Bailey; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue where Mr. Carter can be viewed Thursday, March 6th from 10AM to 8PM and where funeral services will be held Friday, March 7th at 11AM. Interment Virginia Veterans Cemetery at Amelia. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home Friday at 10:45 AM.
