Donna Nutter Dawson

Mrs. Donna Nutter Dawson, age 65, of Midlothian, Virginia, departed this life on February 13, 2025.  She was an Administrative Law Judge for the National Labor Relations Board, with 33 years of Federal service. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dawson; a stepson, Jason Jarrette; a host of nieces, among them Malika Collins and Alexis Dawson-Armstrong; a host of nephews and cousins; father-in-law, Dr. Leonard Dawson; sister-in-law, Stephanie Powell (Art); other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends and loved ones on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 6:30 pm - 7:30pm, at the Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Memorial services will be held at Third Street Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, 614 N. Third Street, on Friday, February 21, 2025, at noon. Rev. Reuben Boyd (pastor), officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:45am on Friday. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to The Howard University Alumni Club of Richmond Scholarship Fund, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and The United Negro College Fund.
